We would like to extend our sincere thanks to VCM Exhibitions Asia for organizing and connecting the industry for this year’s ASLE, and to Economic Daily News for its pre-show coverage, which specifically highlighted YIH KUAN and the “Factory Renewal Program.” This has helped bring greater industry attention to the idea of upgrading existing factories through resource circulation, environmental improvement, and the extension of equipment life cycles.

For YIH KUAN, this exhibition is not simply about showcasing products. Through the joint planning of six companies, we hope to broaden the idea of “factory upgrading” from the purchase of individual machines into a more complete and practical way of thinking about manufacturing-site improvement.

As manufacturing continues to move toward smarter, more automated, and more sustainable production, the market often focuses on new machines, new technologies, and the next generation of factories.

Yet for many manufacturers whose factories are already operating every day, the more practical questions are:

How can an existing factory continue to improve?
How much more value can still be extended from existing equipment and resources?

With this in mind, YIH KUAN will join the 2026 Taiwan International Assembly & Smart Logistics Expo (ASLE 2026) together with SHUOHTAY, HC FENG, GI WEI, LI-HSUN, and YAO SHENG, bringing six Taiwanese manufacturing companies together to create the themed pavilion:

Factory Renewal Program

This is more than six companies exhibiting side by side.

It is an attempt to rethink the key elements of factory transformation and upgrading from the perspective of the actual manufacturing floor:

equipment efficiency, resource circulation, process stability, environmental improvement, pollution management, and asset life-cycle extension.

Can a worn cutting tool be reground and used again?

Can a machine that still has structural value continue operating through modular upgrades instead of complete replacement?

Can industrial oils and cutting fluids last longer through better management?

Can workpieces and materials regain value through surface treatment and reprocessing?

Can oil mist, floating oil, and other forms of contamination in the production environment be reduced through better equipment and management?

These may appear to be separate issues, but they all point to the same idea:

Factory transformation does not have to begin with replacing everything.

The Factory Renewal Program starts with the equipment, resources, and environment that manufacturers already have. The goal is to identify the areas where improvement can create the greatest impact, helping existing factories continue generating more value.

This year, we are also introducing a theme that reflects this philosophy:

Tokyo Looks to the Future. Tainan Upgrades the Present.

Seeing the future matters.

But making the factories that are operating today more efficient, more sustainable, and more valuable matters just as much.
