From Actuation Control to Machining Capability Upgrade: YIH KUAN × JFC Demonstrate Two-Way Technical Applications

Combining hydraulic actuation components with milling head upgrade solutions to support automated manufacturing sites

As automated manufacturing continues to demand higher equipment stability, machining precision, and production efficiency, manufacturing upgrades are no longer limited to improvements in a single machine or component. Instead, they require integrated solutions covering actuation control, mechanical design, and machining capability.

YIH KUAN Enterprise and JFC Industrial will exhibit together at Manufacturing Expo 2026, held at BITEC in Bangkok, Thailand. Under the theme “From Actuation Control to Machining Capability Upgrade,” the two companies will showcase the two-way technical applications between hydraulic actuation components and milling head upgrade solutions.

JFC Industrial has long focused on hydraulic units, hydraulic cylinders, pneumatic cylinders, electric cylinders, and automation actuation components, providing the power, control, and motion foundation required for equipment operation. YIH KUAN Enterprise specializes in milling heads, angle heads, plano milling heads, and existing machine upgrade solutions, helping machining sites improve cutting stability, machining flexibility, and equipment service life.

Although the two companies operate in different product fields, they form strong technical complementarity within the manufacturing chain. For YIH KUAN, JFC’s hydraulic units and hydraulic cylinders can be applied to milling head and special-purpose mechanism designs, such as tool release mechanisms, clamping and unclamping systems, hydraulic counterbalance systems, and heavy-duty milling head lifting applications. Through stable hydraulic actuation, mechanisms can maintain consistent pushing force and improve equipment operating reliability.

In particular, hydraulic counterbalance cylinders play an important role in large plano milling heads or vertical slide applications. Heavy-duty milling head bodies carry significant weight. If the load is fully borne by the motor, screw, and guideway system, the transmission components may face increased burden over long-term operation. With hydraulic counterbalance design, part of the milling head weight can be shared, reducing Z-axis load, making vertical movement more balanced, and helping extend equipment life while improving machining stability.

From another perspective, JFC’s hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic units, and automation actuation components also require a large number of precision machined parts, such as cylinder bodies, end covers, hydraulic manifolds, valve blocks, flanges, brackets, locating bases, and equipment structural parts. These components often involve drilling, side-hole machining, multi-face machining, flange surface machining, and mounting surface machining, all of which require high hole-position accuracy, flatness, and assembly stability.

YIH KUAN’s milling head replacement solutions, angle head applications, and plano milling head upgrades can help machining sites reduce repeated clamping, improve cutting stability, and further support the machining quality of automation components and equipment structural parts. For machining facilities, this is not merely an improvement in a single machining process, but an upgrade of the overall machining capability of existing equipment.

YIH KUAN stated that manufacturing upgrades do not always have to rely on full machine replacement. By improving key mechanisms and machining capabilities, manufacturers can often enhance equipment performance in a more practical and cost-effective way. Through JFC’s actuation components and YIH KUAN’s machining equipment upgrade solutions, both companies can strengthen manufacturing sites from two ends: equipment motion stability and machining precision.

The joint exhibition at Manufacturing Expo 2026 also demonstrates the technical integration capability of Taiwan’s automation components and machine tool component industries in the international market. From hydraulic actuation and mechanical design to milling head upgrades, YIH KUAN and JFC will present a two-way cooperation model to help manufacturers continuously improve efficiency, stability, and equipment service life.
